If you want some really well done seafood, come here. Their special of the day was halibut with risotto and it was devine! We also got the scallops with linguine, which was sooo delicious. Those two dishes were a really great combo, and we split them amongst the two of us. The only recommendation I have for the scallop dish is that there were only 4 on the plate, and for the price point of $30, I felt like they could have included a couple more. Tuesday nights also include 50% off bottles of wine, so that was a great deal. The ambiance was also very nice, there is a fire place outside that we sat next to as the rain began to fall--so it kept us nice and warm. This is a great date night spot for sure!

Walking by, celebrating my birthday with a friend. Sanjay happened to catch us looking at the menu, and he was pretty enticing. So we decided to come back. So glad we did. As soon as I sat at the bar, I said "I'm in pure bliss"... the smell of the open kitchen instantly sent me! I also ordered an espresso martini to power my night - fresh espresso gave the natural taste I love. Also a great calamari and bday treat - 50% off wine bottle Tuesdays!

Excellent service and the best steak (NY and Ribeye) I've ever had in my life (you might have to order off the menu). Delicious artichoke appetizer, too. Save room for dessert - their crème brûlée is outstanding.

We had a mixed experience here. We ordered black cod and salmon and it took forever for the kitchen to make it (I still have no idea if they forgot about our order or what really happened) to the point we asked them to just box the food and have it to go for us as it was getting so late. Our waiter was nice and attending, to apologize for the delay, they gave us a complementary raspberry panna cotta to go which I am writing this whole review just for that... it was soooo delicious that despite the bad experience on the delay I will be going back for the dessert lol black cod and salmon were also pretty good.

Came here for brunch. The atmosphere was very welcoming with upbeat music and a real sense of belonging. Our waiter was Augustine and he was in top form with his service and delivery. The appetizers were artichokes and fresh clams and they were both well presented and tasty. For Mai. Course, we had salmon with pea risotto, the traditional egg omelet and onion soup and mussels. The food was amazing, tasty and plentiful. I highly recommend this restaurant

Four of us looking for seafood somewhere in the Castro. This is the place. Prices are reasonable, friendliest waiter ever, great recommendations, a good time had by all. We snagged one of the two outdoor tables. So sad they had to give up their Parklet. After hearing all the options, all four of us ordered the Cioppino. As our waiter explained, it was invented in San Francisco. I looked it up: According to Avital Tours... "Cioppino is a tomato-based seafood stew that was invented by the San Francisco Italian fishermen of North Beach in the late 1800s using whatever seafood was leftover from the day's catch." The Cioppino did not disappoint. Too much broth for me, but not so for my companions. Luckily it came with two generous pieces of garlic bread, which should be mandatory for dipping. Did anyone say dessert? Oh no, I couldn't said I. He says I'll order if you order. Well, let's split something- so we each ordered our own dessert. Brioche bread pudding was delish, ditto vanilla crème brûlée. Excellent vanilla bean ice cream. In closing, great meal. The outdoor seating is on a wide sidewalk on Market Street, off Castro, great for people watching, or as my extrovert friend enjoyed- saying hi to all the pretty boys. Catch is a great place for groups, and whomever you bring, the dark lighting inside makes everyone look good.

A very bustling eatery and bar! Indoor and outdoor seating! A really cute indoor seating with wooden booths! The crab was amazing and a huge salad! I ate most of it because it was so fantastic!!! The chowder was creamy and tasty! The chicken was a little overcooked, but still tasty! The drink menu was extensive as there was a full bar on one side! The servers were a plenty! And we were well cared for the entire time! Huge parking lot! One restroom.... Was very dirty and isn't family friendly because it's small! It's okay! Small price to pay!!!

Had a birthday meal here for the first time post Covid. It was a Friday night and there were ample tables. That was new. Lovely as always, the menu has I believe become more compact, but the special -- Alaskan halibut -- was spectacular and we all raved about the persimmon and fennel salad. Glad to see that still there! Still a good wine list. Still first rate service. Easily one of the best options for normally priced seafood fine dining I the city.

Came in on a Saturday night and there were no tables available so we opted for seats at the bar. Drinks: Calla Lily: (4/5) - tasted like a lychee martini Watermelon Margarita: (5/5) - refreshing! Food: Mussels: (5/5) - the sauce kinda tasted familiar, like a Thai curry sauce? Fried Seafood Mix: (5/5) - lightly breaded and cooked perfectly! Service was good too. Seems like they have a lot of regulars.
